Monday morning we came to school and had a wonderful surprise. Our grass grew! During our morning carpet time we had a great discussion about our grass. Senna had a wonderful question, "How can we measure it?" Guiliana had a great response, "We can use a ruler". We decided that we should measure our grass using a ruler. We found out that our grass is 2 inches tall or 7 centimetres tall.
During centre time some of the students took a ruler and decided to measure different things in our classroom.
