Gingerbread Man/Elf on the Shelf

Thank you very much to Parent Council who provided each student with a gingerbread man. The kindergartens loved decorating them.

What has Sparkle been up to lately?

One of our friends came very close to touching Sparkle this week. The next day Sparkle had a note for us.

Tomorrow is our last day with Sparkle. We hope he has a safe trip back to the North Pole and hopefully we'll see him again next year.

We want to wish all of our students and their families a very Merry Christmas. Stay safe over the holidays and we'll see you in the New Year!

Elf on the Shelf

Who is Sparkle? Who is Happy?

They are Santa's elves who came to watch over us until our Christmas holidays. Sparkle is the Red Class Elf and Happy is the Green Class Elf. They both surprised us on December 1st. Their job is to watch over all the boys and girls and report back to Santa each night on how they're doing at school. Our number one rule is that nobody can touch our elves, otherwise they will lose their magic.

We've decided to make a class journal about our elves. Each day a different student will help fill out our journal.

Take a look at what Sparkle has been up to:

We think Sparkle was trying to tell us that our tree needed some ornaments. We decided to help him out by finishing his links. We noticed that he made a pattern; red, green, red, green.

Sparkle left us a note that said, "Watch reindeercam.com". We were able to watch Santa's reindeer at the North Pole.
