Green Class

We are looking forward to seeing many family members at our Christmas Story tomorrow!

Here are a few things we did today....

I played with Braeden at the train center. (Rhaven)

I liked showing my friends my sea shells from my trip. (Madison)

I made a Christmas tree using long and short pieces of paper. (Sidney)

I made a book at the writing center. (Mirren)

I made a really big tower at the block center. (Mattias)

I liked practicing our songs for tomorrow. (Rehema)

I liked making my paper of names today. (Cole)

I liked working at the writing center today. (Lauryn)

Here are a few things we did today...

I used tools at the block center to make a house. (Max)

I sorted stuff at the light center. (Annika)

I loved my snack! (Caleb)

I listened to Big Bruce at the listening center. My favourite part was when he shrunk to the size of a chipmunk. (Keira)

I made a stable with Baby Jesus.  Miss B said it was AWESOME! (Madeleine)

I made a dog house but it broke so I made a tool house. (Carter)

I helped Carter make the tool house.  I loved it! (Fatina)

We had so much fun decorating our gingerbread cookies today!  They are coming home in your child's lunch bag.  Here is what our friends are saying about today...

My favourite part of the day was playing in the block center.  We made a bed for Miranda who was Baby Jesus. (Max and Adam)

My favourite part of the day was making an angel.  I used paper and sparkles for her crown. (Carter)

I liked playing with Hannah outside.  We pretended we had a pumpkin and that we painted it orange. (Nicole)

Today we discussed how our families get ready for Christmas and this is what our friends had to say:

I help decorate our tree and I help my mom make Christmas cookies for other people. (Madeleine)

My daddy puts up lights outside. (Caleb)

We decide what we want to give people for Christmas.  My grandma makes her special soup for Christmas and we invite all our friends over. (Keira)

My dad and my sister help me do the Christmas tree star and my mom and dad decorate my house. (Annika)

We put up our Christmas tree. (Miranda)

We decorate our tree and put a star on it. (Munesu)

Daddy puts some lights outside and they change colours when we press buttons. (Max)

Here are a few things we did today:

I used diamonds to decorate my Christmas Tree. (Giuliana)

I liked the playdough center.  I made some chocolates. (Destin)

My favourite part of the day was eating my pizza for lunch. (Waleed)

I liked playing in the teacher center.  I made some pictures on the board. (Priscilla)

My favourite part of today was playing at the block center with Destin and Adrian.  We made a house for the dinosaurs. (Sybilla)

My favourite part of the day was making letters at the playdough center.  I made the letter F for Fatina. (Fatina)

I liked practicing dance moves for our Dance-a-Thon with Mrs. McLaughlin. (Madeleine)

Here are a few things that we did today....

I played at the snow center and I had fun making a snowball. (Olivia J.)

I had fun playing outside playing outside with Caleb and Alicia.  We played animals in the snow. (Cole)

Me and Rhaven made a snowfort.  We collected snowballs to make the walls. (Tierney)

I played a zebra game outside with my friends.  The zebra had to catch us. (Lauryn)

I made a pattern today.  It was candy cane, mitten, candy cane, mitten......(Olivia M.)

I made a Christmas tree with candy canes, jewels and a star on the top. (Mattias)

I loved the snow center.  We pretended the snow was sand and we were looking for golden money. (Caleb)

I played in the snow fort with Sidney.  I think the grade one or two friends made it. (Lauren)
