Gym Class

Today we worked on balancing and working as a team. The students were paired up with another partner and they had to learn to work together to complete a task. The students were asked to balance a bean bag on a certain part of their body while being linked to their partner. They had to work together to keep the bean bag from falling down while they travelled across the gym.

Valentine's Day

If your child made some Valentine's Day cards for their classmates please remember to bring them to school tomorrow. The red class has been working hard to decorate their Valentine's bag. Take a look at what they've been up to this week.

Luau Dance Party

It's too bad that our afternoon Winter Carnival was cancelled yesterday. The good news was that the cold weather couldn't stop us from dancing! All four kindergarten classes had a blast in the gym dancing to music. All of the grass skirts, sunglasses and sunhats really made us want Spring to arrive soon.

Reminder - Winter Play Day

Just a quick reminder that Monday is our "hot" and "cold" Winter Play Day. Your child can bring a Hawaiian shirt, sunhat, sunglasses, grass skirt or a lei for our Luau Dance Party in the morning. For our afternoon please make sure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing as we will be outside for approximately 90 minutes. Extra socks and mittens may be a good idea to put in your child's school bag for the day.
