Green Class

Here are a few things the children did today....

I made a snowman.  I cut it out and added a face and a hat. (Alicia)

I liked playing with the connectors with Ms. Nicola.  We made a big table. (Rhaven)

I played with the lions and tigers at the block center. (Goewra)

I liked doing the "Dinosaur Dance" with Mrs. McLaughlin. (Cole)

I liked going to the gym and dancing to the song "Across the Bridge." (Allen)

I played at the writing center and printed rhyming words with Mattias. (Justin)

I played at the puppet show center today with Silena.  I used the ballerina puppet and made a story. (Kylie)

I made a picnic with the connectors today.  I made a vegetable garden too. (Sidney)

If you are able to make playdough for our classroom please send it to school with your child.  Thank you in advance for helping us out!

Red Class

Here are a few things we did today...

I made a house with Joshua for the little people at the block center. (Max)

Me, Janelle and Madeleine made a museum for big and little animals. (Annika)

My favourite part of the day was playing with the connectors.  We made a castle with Miss B. (Nicole)

I liked making letters with the markers.  (Matteo)

My favourite part of the day was making my snowman.  I had to cut on the lines and then I made a face. (Sybilla)

I liked playing "I Spy" with Mrs. Porcari.  (Alexis)

I helped build the castle with Caleb, Priscilla, Madeleine, Nicole, Yafeat, Keira, Hannah and Annika. (Janelle)

I made a paper airplane with Miss B.  We tried to see which one would go far. (Carter)

I had fun playing in the house center.  We pretended we were silly kittens and dogs. (Madison)

I liked building a house in the block center.  I played with Patrick and Olivia M. (Braeden)

I made a puppet show with Silena. (Goewra)

I built a "Megazord" out of blocks with Caleb. (Allen)

I liked printing letters and numbers on the big whiteboard. (Mattias)

I played the "Grocery Cart" game today.  I had to match  food on my list to put into my shopping cart. (Sidney)

Here are a few things we did today....

My favourite part of the day was when Mrs. Porcari read the story "Tog the Dog." (Giuliana)

I liked playing "Family" in the house center. (Destin)

I loved making shows at the puppet center with Yafeat. (Carter)

I made a rainbow by printing my first and last name with different colours. (Janelle)

I made a pattern with my first and last name.  I did the same thing with Emma's name. (Nicole)

I played with Priscilla at the rice table.  We counted different things. (Adam)

I liked being the audience at the puppet theater. (Caleb)

Our friends are excited about the SMY skating party tonight...We are looking forward to a fun filled evening!  Just a little reminder that tomorrow is a PD Day and we will see all our friends on Monday.

Today was a chilly day but we were able to play outside for a short little while.  We also had our Reach for the Stars Assembly.....Congratulations to Rehema, Tyler, Mattias and Alex who received awards for the Green Class this month.
