We are Builders!

These last two months at school have been tons of fun! We've learned that we have future architects in our classroom. We have provided our students with different materials and watched them build many different things. Take a look at what these young minds have created.

"We made jumps for the playground, for the skateboards and cars. You can drive the cars to the playground then go on with skateboards." -Tyler

"I made an elevator house to take me upstairs to my garage." - Justin (SK)

"A movie theatre. It's the screen. It's the seats. They are holding popcorn." - Madison

"It's a playground, a big trampoline. There are three tall towers. It's sand and people can run with their running shoes." - Jakob

"We made a zoo." - Emily
"It's an animal zoo." - Charlotte

Nicole was the first friend to start building with the sticks. She created a house. As more friends joined in her play the house soon became a part of a town. Each friend added their own ideas of what needed to be built. The town included a playground, Walmart, house, fence, bush, school, Farm boy, school bus, drive way, car and parking lot.

"So first I stacked them together. I made a garage. Then I put the big pieces. Then I put the wooden blocks and the blue blocks. It was a garage for the cars in it." - Mattias
