Our Field Trip

Our field trip to the Experimental Farm was such a success! Thank you so much to all the parent volunteers who came with us. We could not have done it without you! Here are a few pictures of our trip.

This picture is of Madeleine, who was the guide for the red class. She gave us so much information about the many different animals we saw on the farm. We learned that the donkey in the picture help protect the sheep from coyotes and wolves. We got to pet Molly the donkey.

Here is Joshua trying to feed the goat, grass.

On our way to visit the cows.

We learned about how the farmers get the milk from the cows.

Madeleine is trying to catch a duck so that we could pet it.

Here we are at the pig barn. Many of the students complained about the smell.

Here is a barn that only a few students found on the farm. It was full of tractors.

We had a fun filled day!
