Scientists in School

Today our students had so much fun as they participated in our Scientists in School presentation entitled Winter Wonders. Take a look at our "Kindergarten Scientists" in action......



  

" I needed to feed the animals. The blue jay ate the bugs" Caleb
"I was hearing bird sounds and I got to make bird food for the birds in the winter" Joshua
"The woodpeckers like to eat spiders and the cardinals eat berries." Adam

     


" I loved when I made the snowflakes" Priscilla

" We were looking at how animals live in the winter. We learned about how animals hibernate in the winter." Madeleine
"Bunnies change their fur for winter. They turn white." Hannah
" Squirels collected seeds because they needed food for the winter." Guiliana

"If we put the ice on our hands we would be cold. If we put the ice on the mittens then we wouldn't be cold." Fatina
"We were checking to see if it was hot or cold." Maximus
"I was checking if the weather was warm or cold with a thermomator." Munesu

    

"That snow comes from clouds. Snowflakes are very soft and make a littlenoisewhen they touch the ground. Sleet are very hard and they make a loud sound when they hit the ground." Carter
"I was holding ice in my hands and it melted because it was hot inside." Adrian
"We put ice on our hands and it felt cold then we closedourhands together and it melted. Our hands made timely because they were hot." Destin
